I'm in the market for either a 980 or 980 ti, but wondering about bang for your buck value.
Its been well documented that the 980's are great cards but not as good a price/performance ratio as the 970 for example. This may not be the case after the recent 980 price drop though.
So, here it goes - In my region the 980's have recently dropped in price to around $650 Canadian, with the 970's hovering around $440. The gigabyte 980 ti g1 gaming has opened at $900.
Can anyone tell me what the better price/performance ratio is?
(I'm running a 1440p/60hz monitor with an i5 4690k @4.3ghz, 8gb ram)
Thanks!
