this is a much better bet for you. you don't need a z97 board because you have a cpu with a locked multiplier. as for the ram, all ram with the same specs performs the same. even though it is a bit pricey for a build at this price point I have one, and it is insanely fast and reliable because of its 3dvnano technology. I switched your case because to an r5 because I have one, and while gaming, I cant hear my pc at all. I also live in Canada :)

you could also go for this, because you won't use more than 500 watts the only difference is that with this build you sacrifice silence for a beautiful window and you get a slightly better psu. I have an rm 650 and I love it.

Hochothecreamdog, Why would you pick low tier quality PSU, with less wattage, for more money? Your build with h97 motherboard, poorer PSu and the original case will cost actually more, than original build, It makes no any sense.

this build is a bit over budget, but please get it. It is so much better than al of your other options because it is overclockable!

Thanks. I would not need a 970 because I will just be running Microsoft Office, Minecraft Maxed 1080p with 90 mods, and Google Chrome.

If that is your use case scenario, I would recommend this build. This time around, I chose you a great psu with the only con being its lower efficiency and being semi-modular. it is much higher quality than any other recommendations. The ppc is also in a smaller form factor

On the psu tier list the GS is much better.

lol, you do it again, BUT EVGA GS 650w full modular and is slightly better quality, cost the same 84.99$ as Antec, why would pick you 520w semi modular unit instead of EVGA???

no disadvantage to semi modular because it only has cable preattached that you need. as for the bronze vs gold the 3% efficacy difference isn't worth the lower quality of the evga model.

if that is what you think I will not argue with that because it is your money. I am just trying to make sure that you get the best experience possible.
