I am a total novice when it comes to computer hardware. I have the above motherboard within my computer. I would like to fit a ieee 1394 firewire card as my camcorder only works with firewire. Can someone please let me know what firewire I would need to buy. Thanks in advance

can something like this work as well as a card ??

thing about cards is that may interfere with your graphics card as in one may block the other ?? or if you add a card on some intel boards it may drop the x16 to x8 if a certain slot is used ??
may want to look at your slot configuration of your board in its manual first
this is why I asked about the usb adaptors ??

scrap that cable thing I see another brand at amazon and the reviews aint too good ???
