Hi guys,

I have a Palit Jetstream GTX 970 and I've just noticed that GPU Z is picking up some reading which are not entirely accurate.

So this screen is taken from the techpowerup review for the board:

And this is what my GPU Z reads:

As you can notice, the subvendor is wrong and the directx version supported is lower. How is that?

EDIT: Also, ram manufacturer seems to be different?

Different driver version/ operating system is the issue. Its picking up the rest of the card details fine so i wouldnt worry, gpu-z can sometimes be a bit weird with updates etc. although the different ROP count is hard to understand

Ah I see. I know about the ROP that review was before Nvidia published the actual specs of the 970.

What about the ram? Is Elpida a lower quality than Samsung? Will it affect my overclock?

Also, why would the same brand and product use different memory providers.

Is gpu z reading that wrong as well?

Yes I understand, but would Palit be using samsung chips for some boards and Elpida for others? Is there any way I can check on my actual gpu what brand the memory is? (assuming GPU Z is reading it wrong,
