I'm upgrading to an SSD (Samsung 850 EVO 120GB) and im planning to migrate my data from my HDD to SSD by samsungs Magician app and i was wondering if someone could link me to a good Sata III to USB adapter from newegg because i dont want to mess up and accidently get the wrong adapter.

Also after i migrate my data can i still use my old HDD as storage and also how would i go about doing this if i can?

Why do you need an adapter? Just put both drives in and run the software.

Once you are sure you have everything you need either backed up or on the SSD, simply format your hard drive and create (a) partition(s) for storage.
