gtx on dell optiplex 380

Hello! I have a dell optiplex 380 tower and I upgraded a 550 w psu 2x 8 pin ... graphic card is actually a nvidia 9600 gt 512 mb...but I'm thinking of buying a gtx card...I just need to know what type of gtx should i buy (400-600) series ?

cpu- 2.4ghz core 2 quad
ram- 4 gigs

You'll have a hard time finding those mate.
You have plenty of power available from your PSU, so why not look for a 960/970?
If needed (because they are too long for your case) you can purchase the "Mini-ITX" models which are much shorter than the regular cards.

ty very much but can my pci support those cards ??? and optiplex 380 has an old motherboard :/

Your board has PCIe-2.0 which will work just fine with the newer cards. A 5% performance loss or so is not really that noticeable.
