My friend asked me to help him upgrade his
HP Pavilion p7-1534 (or something similar because he can't seem to find the name) with AMD A8-5500 integrated 7560d graphics card and he has 10gb of RAM. So he wants to spend around 120 dollars on an upgrade, so I was thinking of something like a gtx 750ti or r7 260x. The 750 is more expensive but needs less power to work, and amd r7 i260x is cheaper but not sure about the powersupply which is only 300w. He wants to play GTA5 around medium (and i don't even know if that's possible in this case). So what do I tell him? I dont think the powersupply is enough for even the 750ti.

ok so the 750ti SC seems to be cheaper than the non sc, is this good, do you think that 300watt can run this SC version of the 750ti

that's what i am afraid about:
Total wattage: 300W
Nominal input voltage range: 200-240V/3A (50-60Hz)
Not sure if that helps with anything, so you wouldn't recommend running this card of that PSU....what do you think is better, to get a weaker card or try and get a cheap PSU like EVGA 100-N1-0400-L1 400 W 2 yr Warranty
