Hello, I'm currently building my first computer, and I'm really excited. And the first thing I'm going to do when I turn it on is update the motherboard and graphic card right?

Well I looked online and it said to go off the manufacturers website. Well did that and there are so many updates to choose from for both, I wanted to curl up into a ball and cry.

First things first, did I get the right website with the drivers?

Motherboard: http://us.msi.com/support/mb/Z97-PC-Mate.html#down-bios

Graphic card: http://www.sapphiretech.com/productdetial.asp?Pid=718897BF-E6D5-4C79-AA00-C1DC766ADF80&tag=download&lang=eng

I'm just confused especially on the graphic card, like what do I need to download. Should I just download everything I see that is up to date?

Or should I use the DVDs they come with? A lot of people said they are mostly out of date.

Thank you and sorry if I word it kind of weird

Solution
The answer is no. You need to do the follow after the system goes through the POST process:

1. Boot the PC into the BIOS and double the check the time and date are correct
2. Put your Windows 7 or 8 CD in and restart the PC, let the windows product install. Don't be plugged into the internet at this step.
3. Put the CD that came with your video card in and run the install process for the drivers.
4. Put the CD that came with your motherboard in and install the drivers like USB 3.0, Ethernet, just the ones needed. Here is a video that will help you:

5. Next, connect your PC to the internet and then go to Windows update and install all the updates (this can take awhile so be patient)...

Thanks for the reply! If the OS is Windows 10, that shouldn't really affect anything right?
