I am sending my Gpu off for a RMA since it is broken sadly and i was wondering if my P8Z77-V LX2
has a inbuilt gpu. If it does is there any chance it will be able to allow me to play league of legends are the lowest settings to tie me over :). thanks

Solution
The motherboard does have video out, so you are good there.

Your CPU probably has an intergrated GPU. it's not much but it can do windows.

What CPU are you using? do you know?

Almost all Intel CPU's have integrated graphics. There were some a few years ago, which I think had a P at the end of the model number, which did not have functioning integrated graphics, but that was only a very small number of CPU's.

If you look on the back of your computer, next to the USB and Ethernet ports, you should see some video adapter plugs. Those are the ones from the CPU. These ports normally only work when there is not a discrete video card plugged in.

I have the exact same CPU. it does indeed have onboard graphics.

Gaming on it is going to be tough, I've never tested LoL unfortunately.

Yes it should be automatic, if not you will be able to tweak settings inside the bios if you are confident enough.

I never knew that cpu's had little gpus that is sweet, i did a quick google with that info and i think i found the answer the the second part from the LoL forum lmao. "I run i5 2500k HD 3000, i run on all high settings, no shadows, 1900x1080. I avg anywhere from 35-60fps, depending on what is going on in game. Around 30 flat during big team fights, never goes any lower"

Thanks guys i love toms Hardware best website on the net.

btw you both helped me they only let me pick one solution and when there is a lot of people who respond i always just pick the 1st one but i appreciate your answer and time MarkW
