How Long Will My PC Last?

Hi, I recently got a PC during New Years and I'm wondering how long it will last.

Specs:
-i5 4590
-Gtx 760 Reference Design
-1tb hard drive 7200rpm
-8gb RAM 1600mhz
-600 power supply
-Windows 8.1

You'll be fine for years on that, I'd give it 2 years until the next GPU upgrade then maybe add another 8GB RAM and SSD and then after that it will be a full rebuild in 2020.

IF and WHEN you can afford it buy a SSD just for the OS because it will speed your PC up no end, I ended up getting one just for game :lol:

Like said above, depends on the psu brand. Also if the hard drive brand is Seagate, those don't last as long as WD drives.

Depends how much you would be gaming on the PC. Hardcore gamers and overclockers can really lower the lifespan of a computer


Personal experience: I'm a moderate gamer and a few pcs I had in the past lasted about 4 years at least before the HDD or psu started going bad (just my experience though)
