So i have vapor x r9 290
-I got an i5 2310 and when i check the
recommended cpu specs of any game, my cpu js rated lower.
- On the other hand the i5 4690k reaches the recommended cpu settings for games
The question, so if i buy 4690k and a new mobo will i notice a difference over 2310 and by how many frames ( gta 5, witcher3, watch dogs, assassins creed)?!!
Thanks

the cpu does if it a few rev behind the newest one out there. the older 1155 sandy/ivy bridge cpu that you have is only is real life about 8 percent slower then a newer haswell cpu of the same clock speed. i would wait for skylake and then see if it a real big bump over haswell then think is the cost worth it.
