Which one of these graphics cards should I buy

I am having a computer built with the i5 4690k processor (To save money) on a asrock z90 pro AXT LG1150 mother board. Should I get the MSI R9 (AMD) 380 Gaming card or the GXT960 both with 4GB.

I will be using it to play bluyray and gaming

I have been looking on the net and 390 looks to out perform the gtx 960. The price on both is about the same.

So what would you choose and why? Thanks in advance

If they have almost same price, then get the R9 380 ( or the R9 390 maybe your mean the r9 380), because the r9 380 will have better performance.

The 380 performs slightly better. If its the 4gb version that would be better.

Thanks CIn19 and for everyone elses confirmation input. I think I will go with the 380. I wanted make sure that the test results on the net were accurate.
