So I dropped my PC on the ground awhile back and tried to plug it in but my Dell monitor kept saying "Enter Power Save Mode" every time I tried to plug it in. The keyboard wouldn't light up but my Blue Snowball mic would when connected. I did some research and found out that it was most likely my motherboard so I bought a new one and installed it but it is doing the same thing as before. Can someone please help me out with this? I'm getting bored of watching Netflix all day, ha.

How do I test that? Sorry for sounding so stupid on this, ha. I'm more of a software person so I have no clue how to do that.

Are you running a graphics card on that system? Have you check another monitor? First thing would be the monitor, then the graphics card and then HDD, but if you dropped the PC I do think it could be the HDD. Does the PC make any noise when turning on? Like Beeps.

Yeah I have a Diamond HD Radeon 5870. I've tried it with another monitor and it does the same thing. There are no beeps when turned on, just the sound of the fans running.

I heard resetting the jumper might work or unplugging the PC, holding down the power button for 1 minute and then plugging it back in would work but sadly that did not either.

If you have some specs put them in so it is easier to diagnose but to check for a broken GPU try running it on integrated graphics if you have any.

I don't really know many of the specs that I have other than it's a MSI motherboard, Diamond HD Radeon 5870 graphics card, and AMD Phenom 2 processor.
