I have a dell optiplex gx 280 and a gt610. I have 4Gb ram 533 MHz. My pentium 4 is 3.00 GHz with hyper threading. I would like to know what 64 bit pentium 4 I could put in this gx 280. And if 800 MHz ram is compatible. Would this help in performance? If it would help please tell me how much fps I will likely gain in minecraft.

800 mHz Ram is compatible, however, it'll slow down to match the 533 mHz speed of the other stick, as memory has to be running at the same speed on all sticks.

Any processor using the socket LGA775 will work on your computer.
