Bad internet connection and Qualcomm Atheros Network manager pop-up

I recently bought a new laptop (msi GE72) and it came pre-installed with Windows 8 of course.
Not my choice, but I couldn't wait until W10. Now while I'm still struggling with the lay-out and the overal design my laptop worked pretty well until recently.

I'm just going to tell everything here because I'm not really sure where I went wrong.

I have norton security and updated it the other day and ran a full scan. It found the usual cookies and stuff but also some other files it couldn't identify. I can't remember the file type but I deleted them to be sure.
Some time after that I started getting problems with my internet connection. I couldn't reconnect and it always told me I had a problem with my router or cable. Now first of all, all the other systems in house that ran on the same wifi network didn't experience any problems. They ran flawlessly with not even slow speed. Of course i did restart my router and checked my cable but nothing seemed to work, I still got a faulty connection, yet no other device (laptop,pc,smartphone,ps4) had problems with the network.

I couldn't solve it so I closed my computer and waited for a while. I still didn't have any network connection with the restart but I did get a pop-up for Qualcomm Atheros Network Manager Msi. It said that it couldn't find the file. So I searched my computer for the file but while I did find the Network manager map, all were empty.

After that my internet came back on, but it has been coming and going regularly. Also every time I open my laptop the pop-up reappears. Should I try to redownload the network manager? Is that what is causing the problem? From what I could find online it's an helpfull tool but not vital.

Anyway, Thanks for replying! It's really appreciated

So you either have a virus that norton missed or deleted files that nortons shouldnt have flagged is what I'm reading into this. I would perform a factory restore/reinstall and this time do not delete those files norton flags. Be sure to back up any important data first.
