1 Modem, 1 switch, 2 router setup. Will this work?

I recently bought Shield (https://itusnetworks.com/shield/).

I was wondering if I could connect my:

Modem>Switch>Shield> Router A> Laptop/Desktop/Smartphone/Home cameras/Smart lock/etc
and
Switch>Router B>Laptop/Xbox/Desktop/PS4 (Gaming)

Will this work?

As with any non-standard configuration, please tell us WHY, so we may zero in an objective solution.

No. The modem talks to one and only one device. Router or PC.
And as above, why?
