How much fps difference between 970 and 390?

Hi, I wanted to know how much fps difference there is on 1440p monitors. Since I keep seeing things about amd drivers not being good and it's power consumption. Thank you.

I think Tom's had it around 7 FPS difference for 1080P.

for 1440p most ppl say go 390/390x. The extra VRAM helps it surpass the 970 in 1440p/4k (but the 970 is a very close second indeed)

390 is basically a renamed 290. About 5-7fps faster than a 970. Not much difference. Boils down to cost.
