I am having some problems with my 780ti where it will crash without the BSOD. I have read other issues on this topic. Currently I am using one cable that splits and has 2 8 pin connecters on it. Is it possible that isn't providing adequate power. Would it be better to have two separate cables?

Solution
That is not likely to be the problem.
A psu maker will often pair two pcie power connectors on the same cable for ease of wiring.
They are built to deliver the full 150 watts on each.

Only if your psu is a cheap one of poor quality might that be an issue.
Exactly what make/model is your psu?
