RAM issue after CPU cooler

Hey all,

I wanted to upgrade my older CPU cooler, and purchased a h75 from Corsair.
I've installed a 105 of these before, with no issues at all. After installing the first time, I think
I may have tightened the thumbscrews, onto the standoffs that keep the block in place, too much.

Suddenly I was getting a red, DRAM_Led lighting up on the Asus Maximus Ranger VII motherboard. The computer would no longer start up, even after trying the MemOK! button.

I immediately took off the cooler, the CPU seemed fine, no bent pins or anything, so I tried installing the cooler again. It went better this time, no over tightening, but yeah. Same issue.

The last slot out of the four (B_2) is functional, the computer booted again after putting a stick in there.

I'm thinking I may have broken something when tightening the cooler. What would be the best way to check this? Any help or tips is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for replying. I've already done this, but I'm still getting the same issue.

When I put another RAM stick in the slot next to the working one, the computer starts up for a few seconds,
and immediately resets itself until I take the stick out. This happens for all of the slots except B2.
