Little problem with new GTX 970

So, I just bought new Asus Strix GTX 970 OC and installed it. Well, yesterday I played gta v and cs go and some cods and it was all good. Then today I started 3Dmark benchmark and after 3 seconds it crashed with message something like "nvidia gpu has stopped working and succesfully recovered". Then I ran the benchmark again and nothing happened. Got good results and everything. So why did it crash? Do you know?

Well yeah since it was only 1 crash. Ill return to this case if it keeps crashing. Thanks

Check your power connections to the Gpu. Could be a bit loose, or psu issues. If all is good. Try lowering your core clock a bit maybe by 100Mhz and lower your memory clock by 1-200Mhz. See if that fixes it
