Using XMP profile with 2 separate sets of same exact ram safe?

I bought 2 separate sets of this ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233386 total 32gb. I was wondering if using the xmp profile would be safe? If not how would i manually set the ram timings, voltage and frequency properly at the advertised speed?

So here is some info on the 32gb set (4x8gb) http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeancer-low-profile-32gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cml32gx3m4a1600c10b
It's essentially the same exact thing as my 2 sets of 16gb correct? If i were to manually set the tested timing, speed and voltage for my two sets listed on this page would that be the same thing? The xmp profile is basically a preset of these 3 things right? So wouldn't that pair of settings be one of the xmp profiles?

xmp profiles are fixed programmed settings from the manufacturer inside a rom of the memory. The motherboard bios just read these settings (timings, clock, voltage) and set them automatically if xmp profile is selected.
if no xmp is selected, the mainboard reads the preprogrammed jedec settings.
in both situations you normally haven't to do anything manually, even if the memory sticks were from another brand but with the same settings.
