Can my powersupply run the following system at everything stock?

Hello everyone. I'm thinking about upgrading from 7850 to 6990.

Is it worth upgrading? I mean will I get an increase in the FPS? That's all I want. I will be playing at 1080p.

My PC specs are:
Core i5 2400.
AsRock H61m u3s3 motherboard.
2 x 4gb Vengeance.
Gaming mouse.
Gaming keyboard.
Normal chasis with 2x 80mm fans.
Samsung 830 ssd.
GPU: 6990 Dual GPU 4GB superclocked version.

Can I run this on my Xigmatec NRP 602 600w power supply?

The power supply claims that it can run 580w on max load while the reviews said that it can only run 480w max on the both 12v rails. Can I run the above system on current PSU?

to make it short, no. if you're shopping for a new card, what is your budget, i can make some suggestions based on the budget and keeping the current psu.

Budget is very limited and I will buy it in used here in Pakistan.

My 7850 is being sold at $120 and I'm getting 6990 at $150. Just a little bit difference and much more performance boost!

I can get 7970 as well but that's out of my budget. It will cost me around $170 in used...

I can get other cards like R9 270x for $150 but I don't like them as there is very little difference between 7850 and R9 270x.

You'd need a good quality 700+W PSU. for the 6990. Yours is neither good quality or 700W. See http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html#xtor=EPR-8886

The 6990 is about as good as a R9 280X to R9 290 but is older and less power efficient. Its a dual GPU card.

a low budget such as that wont get you any more performance than what you currently have. if you're willing to upgrade the PSU the 6990 would be a decent upgrade.

I don't have enough money to buy a new PSU now. Either I use it with the same PSU or I don't buy it. . . I'm ready to take up the risk... If it's a risk of 10-15% but not if the risk is 90%.

Good reliable PSUs are in tier 1 and 2 of http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html#xtor=EPR-8886

Tier 3 is for low end builds where there's not much to lose.

No matter what you run on it it is still poor quality - poor voltage accuracy and ripple suppression etc. But the more you load it the worse it will get.
