Help me about graphic card for core 2 quad Q6600.

I am buying Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 now i have core 2 duo E8400. After upgrading i want to know what GPU is good enough for core 2 quad that gpu can run gta v at low or medium setting i have only $70 please. card must be of nvidia not amd please tell me ddr 2 card ...

A Q6600 may have trouble running GTA V at stock speeds, so you probably have to overclock it to run at the lowest settings. You also would need a minimum of 4GB of RAM preferably 6 or 8 GB (DDR2)

For a graphics card you might want to look for a second hand one? Maybe a GTX480 or something similar. If you want something new than look for a GT730 or GT740 or maybe save up for a 750ti which would be the best thing to do.

However if you need a GPU right now than go with the GT740 if you can afford it, i think both the 730 and 740 meet the minimum requirements

As mentioned above, a good second hand one may be best for you, because $70 really isn't enough for a GPU that can play GTA V. Also what did you mean by "ddr 2 card"? It doesn't matter what RAM you have in your system, graphics cards use their own RAM and are compatible with all motherboads that have a PCI-e X16 slot.

I want a gpu that work fine with this cpu and might not bottleneck with cpu and give me 30+ fps is this 2.4 is not enough help...??? I will upgrade ram as well... tell me the fine processor clock speed my wish to play gta 5 either i will die..

Well, how much RAM do you currently have? and what motherboard do you have, so i can check if it even supports 6 to 8 GB's.

I would OC your CPU to atleast 2.8 t 3GHz, but in order to do that you will need a decent cooler such as the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo or similar, a stock cooler won't cool enough.

I dont know motherboards name but i have hp dc7900 and ddr2 ram 3gb now 1gb in 3 slot 1slot is empty my elder brother know evrything he said thic cannot support 2gb single ram he is ignoring me about cpu and gpu . It is my wish but i can get second hand tell me second hand gpu that run fine with cpu and my brother is bot agree with me if i get cooler this will be more strange?? Help

You should add one more GB in that empty slot than.

I don't know what the prices for second handed cards are in your country/area but i think you should be able to get one of these:
400 series: GTX 460, 470 or 480. (Higher number means the better card)
Maybe from the 500 series, a 550ti, 560 or even 570.

And if you can't find any of those in your price category you could buy a GTX 285, 280 or lower.

From a website can i buy used graphic cards but how can i check them they are giving me 1 week checking warranty but from these users i dont trust can i also buy it from market tell me the trriik to chek them and what about thier warrant gddr5 can my pc support how can i know that my pc can support gddr5 graphic card following are the spec:

Like i said, your PC does support that. GDDR5 is the RAM located on the GTX460, and has nothing to do with the DDR2 in your motherboard.

Ok Thats Fine But The Problem Is Not Enough Money And I dont trust On Used Cards What they Are Thats main problem and i initiatively can buy it from unknown person so what to do ???? how to check how to believe and what about warranty help mee please sandstorm3000

I would go for the newest series card you can get from nvidia. (within your price range, also used) ... I have seen gtx 660's go for around that price, but a q6600 starts bottlenecking anything past a 560ti (from what ive heard) ... I would reccomend getting either a gtx 570 or gtx 580, as you can find both of those cards for around $70 (also, craigslist is awesome for good condition cheap cards)

Sandstom I have seen Gameplay of gt 740 is good and nice graphic card runs gta 5 smoothly what about you price is in my reach tell me middleclass graphic card it is for my core 2 quad Q6600.

A Q9300 is slightly better and may be worth the extra money i would still recommend overclocking it, but i think it will run GTA at lowest settings without too much problems.

The GTX650 does beat the GT740, not by much. However you might want to spend more on a second hand card with 2GB of VRAM. Or buy a 750ti.

If you played games much such gta 4 then tell me please i have core 2 duo e8400 3.0 and intel chipsets q43/45 owned 1gb graphics integrated .. but gta 4 lag little too. Then i want to know i only get first processor then aftrr months i shall buy gpu .. fistly tell me if i upgrade to core 2 quad q9300 or 6600 as mentioned will gta 4 laging decrease after cpu upgrade or it will after graphic card i buy does processor helps reducing lags at all. Pleez help
