My Windows 7 computer is having some issues?

Ok, here's the deal: I recently put a hard drive from another, slightly older windows 7 pc into my computer, and it had been working fine until I decided to do a clean factory reset. That might seem like no issue, but ever since then, I keep getting random taskbar freezes that affect any other windows that are open too. No other windows are affected, but when I try to do ctrl+alt+del to open task manager or ctrl+shift+esc to open task manager and restart Explorer, it doesn't work. I also got a BSOD and when I restarted it said "no boot device found," but I can fix that by putting the hard drive back in (it probably slipped out of the slot). I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3521 with an Intel Celeron 1.70 GHz processor and Intel HD Graphics 400 GFX card. It had 4GB of ram but I recently installed 8GB to make it faster. It has Windows 7 as stated above. IDK if it's the drivers or what but I was having trouble installing the Internet driver. I really need help with this as I'm working on a very important project. BTW, I'm writing this from a friend's laptop, just in case you were having any doubts.

Yes, I installed the Inspiron 15 3521 internet, audio, and video drivers.
I did have to install the Windows 8 internet drivers because the Windows 7 ones were not working, but I'm not sure that would be the reason. The other drivers were for Windows 7.

I also have 64 bit Windows.
