Hello i was thinking to upgrade my gpu from r7 250 to r9 270.

Then my friend offered me a hd7850 for a very cheap price.

I was thinking an crossfire set up with them? will it work? Do i see performance boost vs only the r9 270?

My system specs:
Mobo: Gigabyte h87-hd3
Cpu: Celeron g1820
Gpu: R7 250 1gb gddr5
Psu: Corsair tx750

Even if you manage the CF this is whats going to kill your system a lot Cpu: Celeron g1820.... Now you can CF 7950 AND A r280 Look on youtube plenty of vids on that...

You will not be able to Crossfire a hd7850 with a R7 250, another r7 250 is required or crossfiring R9 270's will require 2 of the same card.
Same card but brand shouldn't be a problem aslong as there of the same clock speed etc.
