Thanks for the help! Hmm, I was hoping I'd be able to keep the one I have now. Do you not think there'd be a chance it could damage any components?

not at all. they are by no means top tier, but they are decent for budget builds.

What do you think about this as an upgrade?
Bronze certified and all that.

If you absolutely must, I could live with it. I own a CX600 and it hasn't given me any problems but the only reason I got it is because I was in a pinch and after store credit and rebates it cost me less than $10.

I rarely or ever suggest anything below Tier II because the PSU is the most important component in your system. If you're looking for cheap, cheap is what you'll get. You have to pay for quality. Hell, if rebates don't scare you the link below is high quality and more power than you'll ever need.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207014&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

At that price, I'm seriously considering replacing the aforementioned CX600 and just keeping it as a spare to use temporarily in a pinch.

@joesshh Glad it helped.Nvm Corsair is a reputed company, they would not go that cheap on thier products But,Make sure you don't end up with the VS series by corsair(they could be very cheap and dont offer any sort of certified efficiency ratings) So I suggest you stick with your current PSU or Grab a CX 430M which is semi modular and has 80+ bronze power efficiency!

Hope this helps :D

Corsair cases, RAM, liquid coolers...I agree but unless I'm looking for a high end PSU, HX, AX, some RM models, something like that, there's better options for the same price or less.

Your call, it's your computer.

Think I'll stick with my current one for now, but if I notice any problems then I'll upgrade ASAP.

Thanks for yours and @utgotye 's help!
