Clean Install With no System Reserved Partition

So I recently built a new computer, and mistakenly had the hard drive in, as well as the SSD, when installing windows. This meant that the system reserved partition was on the HDD, which made it difficult to then convert the HDD to a format which allowed a 3TB partition.

What I decided to do was do a clean install of Windows onto the SSD, with the HDD removed, so that I could format the HDD to use its full capacity.

Here's the thing. I did that, and windows was installed fine and the computer now boots. But when I look at disk manager, the C drive has no "system reserved" partition, it's just a large disk. How is the computer even booting, as I thought the system reserved 100MB slot was necessary to boot?

Any help in solving this would be appreciated.
