I need your inputs and feedbacks. You can also make suggestions and and recommendations or even correct me if some parts are not compatible with each other. FYI some parts I got from my brother's old rig and I am going with the blue theme. (This is the best that I can do with my budget) Here it goes:

CPU:Intel Intel Core i7-4790K Devil’s Canyon Quad-Core 4.0GHz

GPU: SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 390X 8GB 512-Bit(Planning on Crossfire later on)

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

MOBO:ASRock Z97 Extreme4 LGA 1150 Intel

Cooling: Cooler Master V8(Old model)
with Bitfenix Spectre Pro 230mm/140mm Blue led fans

HDD: 2x 2TB WD Caviar Black
1x 3TB WD Caviar Green

Case: Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced

PSU:FSP Group Everest 800 800W(Old model but will replace if needed) Can this support my rig if I Crossfire my GPU?

What other suggestions would you give me? Accessories, Peripherals, etc...
And please note if I have forgotten other crucial or necessary parts. Thank you!

Your parts will work, but if you try to crossfire 390X cards you will need a 1100w psu.

Asrock is normally good, but I see some 45% negative(0 or 1eggs) reviews on newegg.

I think I would look at a different Z97 motherboard.

What is your budget?
What games do you play?
At what resolution?

My initial thought is that planning on dual cards is a losing proposition.
I think buying a single great card that does the job is a better strategy.
A future graphics upgrade is easy; sell the old in favor of the new.
You save up front costs an a less expensive motherboard and psu.

You avoid dual gpu issues of stuttering, screen tearing and inconsistent gameplay.
Not to mention that some games do not handle dual gpu well, or even at all.
You have less heat issues in your case too.

Your psu can easily handle a GTX980ti which can handle 4k gaming.

Also, on a build like this, do yourself a favor and use a SSD for the "C" drive. 240gb is fine; I like Samsung evo or Intel 730.

I agree with geofelt, if you have 1 AMAZING card vs. 2 great cards, the amazing card should be what you get, it just makes more sense, and if you want later down the line, you can always crossfire the better card.

You mentioned you have the old cooler master v8 cooler - as in this one?
http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/cm_v8/2.htm

If so, I think you'll need a new cooler. Unless you bought yours after I bought mine and they decided to include additional mounts for lga 1155/1156 (1150), it doesn't have the proper mounting brackets for lga1150. That's the cooler I used on my lga775 build and when I upgraded my pc I held onto it planning to reuse it since newegg listed it as being compatible. No dice, only the amd backplate, lga1366 and lga775.

Would a Cooler Master V1000 Vanguard suffice or would I need a more powerful PSU?

I would have gone for Extreme 6 but it's not available here in the Philippines
Budget is $1500(Max $2000 if needed)
Would really like to play GTA V and Witcher 3 at ultra settings
I thought that the R9 390x could also handle 4k gaming and I thought there was not much problem in crossfiring? Is the 390x not a good GPU?

But isn't the R9 390x good? And I was planning on Crossfiring it later.

Dang. We have the same model. So this means I need to buy a new V8 or would a liquid cooling be more efficient?

It is good, but one single high tier card is always better than two medium tier cards, not saying the R9 390x is medium tier, but that's just how it is, build it around the 390x, if it lacks performance to what you expect, by all means, go ahead and Crossfire it, but you shouldn't have to, unless you plan on going nutso with your gaming.

The old v8's weren't bad and the new ones aren't horrible. Just overpriced for what they are. Right now it's $90, $80 with a rebate card for the newer v8 gts model. That's more expensive than a noctua nh-d14 which will easily outperform it. There are other coolers which work well, the phanteks tc14pe, noctua nh-u12s, enermax ets t40, cryorig h5, cooler master hyper 612 v2. Ranging basically from $40-75. For a lower budget cooler that will do ok for mild overclocking, the cryorig h7 or hyper 212 evo in the $30 range.

If I crossfire my GPU would it present more problems than it would make my rig more powerful?

With Crossfiring you shouldn't have problems if you do it right, have a capable motherboard, have a big enough PSU, have plenty of cooling, and most importantly, have a reason for it, I'd only recommend Crossfiring if you've got lots of money to burn, planning on 60fps streaming on Twitch, or playing 4k games/using absurd amounts of monitors.

For right now, I'd recommend getting an SSD, like a 1TB SSD and put your games/OS on it instead of another GPU. But that's what'd I'd do, it's 100% up to you.

I will be getting SSD then. I was fixed on the R9 390x but now I'm open to suggestions. What ohter GPU would you think would be better than the 390x but on the same price range or a bit higher?
