Intel DH61WW PCI-E 2.0 slot will support PCI 3.0 graphic card ??

Hello Everyone.

I'm looking for a new graphic card and I decided to buy Amd Radeon R7 240 1GB gDDR5.

Amd Radeon R7 240 1GB gDDR5 has PCI 3.0 but my motherboard has PCI-Express 2.0 x16 Card Slot.
so, will it support or will it compatible in Intel DH61WW motherboard ??

Configurations:-
Intel i3-2120 2nd generation Processor.
2GB + 2GB 1333MHz RAMs.
Intel DH61WW Motherboard.

PCI-e is backwards compatible, but the 240 is not all that good of a card. Don't expect too much improvement with it.

Your MB has the pcie2.0X16 slot, it will be more than enough the r7 240.

Actually I will not play any High Graphics games !! just want to play CS:GO and CS1.6
I think CS:GO will easily run in r7 240. Am I right ?
I have a older graphic card XFX 9500GT, can I play CS:GO in 9500GT card ??
so, PCI-Express x16 card slot will support PCI 3.0 graphic cards. Right ?
