Upgrading from 7750 - which card to pick out of these?

Hi.

Right now I own Sapphire 7750 1 GB (and i5-3470) and plan to make an upgrade; I never buy newest games right away... I play on 24" screen, high(er) details in games and I don't care that much about playing at 60 fps stable... I also don't think I plan to overclock the card. But that's just for introduction.

I already looked into cards in my budget, the most pricey one I can get is r9 270x but in comparison I'm wondering if there's an observable difference in performance to r9 270 as they're priced closely.

I'm also considering r7 265 and r260x since (esp. the latter one) is significantly cheaper, but I wonder if the performance jump is also a lot in practice (both from my current card + given the games I play and in comparison to the first two cards meantioned earlier) or rather neglectable.

To sum up pricing at my place of cards I'm choosing from:
r9 270x $200 - $220 (depending on manufacturer + sites I plan to order from)
r9 270 $185 - $200
r7 265 $170 - $180
r7 260x $130

Which one would be the best pick price-performance ratio in your opinion and why? If I overlooked some other cards worth considering, feel free to point it out (I'm open to Nvidia too, but their counterparts seemed rather more expensive than AMDs or simply out of stock at my place...)

Thanks a lot for your time!

GTX960 and R9-380 are the popular mid-range choices right now at the $200 price point (unless those are Canada or Australia dollars)

R9-270X = HD7870 , a large improvement over a 7750.

R9-380 = R9-285 which is faster then a R9-280 but less then an R9-280X (HD7970)

Unfortunately the GTX960 and R9-380 are out of my budget as they're priced here at $250 (seems US dollars; I went with a straightforward Google conversion from my own currency, since ordering from abroad at place I live at would be too expensive >_< - hope it's not too confusing), and same goes for the R9 280 & 280x.

Thanks for your suggestions still!

Just as I've heard; but given I haven't ever OC'ed anything I think I might pass on that for now (I forgot to mention it in the post).

What about the r7 265 & 260x though? Do you think there's a "need" to buy the best card possible in my budget and maybe opt for one of these instead? I don't care that much about 60 fps stable and with single-player games I'm OK with anything that seems smooth without any noticeable lag spikes.

Unfortunately the 7950 doesn't even seem available in my country anymore (at least not from sellers I trust).

Since the 265 is so closely priced to 270x, I opted it out. I think with the games I play I would do with just 260x, but since I'm atm really into Skyrim and looking up threads they suggest 280+ cards for it, I'd say the 270x will do me a good service.

Thanks everyone for sharing your opinions!
