Hello everyone!
So I noticed this problem a few days ago when I change my PC from the floor to the desk, but after lots of research I manage to collect some good and bad info but I'm not sure if its right.
I have a R9 270x Hawk 1 year old, and when I start the PC the 1st fan wiggles a bit until start spinning (no problem there) but the second fans is stopped until the card reaches High temps. I've installed the MSI Afterburner and tested to see if the fan works, and it does at 95% fan usage the second fan kicks in.
So I've set the fan curve on MSI Afterburner to start a little soon, and the fan kicks in no problem. But I'm not sure if its zero core or a eco technology\quiet or something.
Is it defective or it's meant to be like that by factory ? Should they both spin ?
My idle temps are 30ºc and 72ºc on GTA V.
My PC:
Asrock 970 pro3 (latest bios)
AMD Phenom x4 965 (Stock)
Corsair CX600
Corsair Vengence 8gb 1600mhz
Thanks!
PS: Already opened a threat on MSI forum
