Hello guys, so a week ago i bought a ssd and installled windows 7 there and left my hdd as a secondary since it was 1 tb, All worked fine until yesterday, when i installed a game in the secondary drive i noticed the computer started getting really slow ! I dont know what to do. I tried to install the same game in ssd and its seems fine and the day before of yesterday i installed other game and it was fine, it was really suddenly ! What can i do ? I already switched sata cables and its not that !

Hey CarryPotter,

Describe your decription of "slow" like does the computer freeze, slow down when transferring files from the hard drive? Etc.

I would defragment the hard drive not the SSD. Use a program like defraggler to choose the hard drive

So for an exampple i formated the secondary drive cause i thought it was something wrong and then i put installing a game that i actually bought today ( Elder Scrolls Online) and the computer started to get really slow like i couldnt watch youtube videos and in teamspeak i started hearing my friends with robotic voice like lagging the computer actually.

Im running hdd regenerator too see if theres bad sectors, it has been running for a while and since its 1 tb it will take alot of time but after that i will try desfragementing ! Hdd regenerator finds bad sectors and tries to repair it. It may be that but i will see .
Do you think what im doing is correct or maybe even the solution ?
