lose connection every time dhcp wan ip renews

so basically about once a week i lose internet for about a minute. i checked the router log and it seems every time the dhcp wan ip expires it does it.

also im wondering if its maybe something with my computer? but i doubt it.

im using my isps router which is a virgin media superhub 2ac aka netgear vmdg490.

if anyone can help id be grateful. thanks.

found out from virgin media forums that it is a bug with the router and has been like this since day 1, and that "The bug only affects router mode. So running the hub in modem mode with a 3rd party router attached would resolve it."

so i guess im gonna be buying a new router. does anyone have any recommendations? idealy i dont wanna spend much more than £100. £150 would be my maximum.
