PC was running fine earlier. Shut down on me randomly while in Raidcall playing H1Z1 and will turn back on but does not boot. All fans work normally and DRAM LED does not turn red at all. Any idea what could be causing this? I have already tried switching RAM slots with my single 8gb stick and cleared CMOS both by battery and jumper.

ASUS M5A97
FX 8350
R9 280
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB
650w power supply (can't remember make off the top of my head)

I'm leaning towards thinking the issue is my power supply since I've tried with different RAM to no avail. Thanks for any help!

The fact that your fans are spinning makes the power supply seem unlikely (however still possible). My guess is that it is probably your motherboard. I've seen dead RAM slots before in a laptop, so the same could happen on a desktop.

You can always test your power supply with a multimeter. That way you know for sure before you go replacing things.

*Update* It could also be your graphics card not displaying properly. If you have a way of getting another one (borrow a friend's and try that one, or something along those lines) you can eliminate that as a possibility.

Not without taking my case apart. The way it is set up limits my access.
