CPU Temperature Readings?

I wanted to check out what my temperatures were.
Normally I use the 212 evo for my cooler, but with this new upgrade into i7 4790k, i wanted to go with the liquid cooling so i bought the corsair h110i gt.

as soon as i was doing the bootup (bios) settings upon its initial start, it read the cpu as 50C

after installing all the drivers and what not, i looked around and people were suggesting multiple applications to download to monitor the cpu temperature.

two of them were showing 30-35C idle, while one other was showing 40C idle...
while the motherboard bios reading always shows it around 50C

which one do i trust?
Is it normal for idle to be that high under water cooling?
Is my h110i not that good? or defective?

Go for the best application and it is always right.

"Speccy"

It shows you temp. of all the components and their uses.If the uses and temps are safe it will show as green colour if it is not then it will as red colour.
