My psu is a 7 year old delta 550w server power that only comes with 2x6 pin connectors. Recently I want to upgrade my graphics card from a 5850 to a gtx 970 that requires 1x8 pin and 1x6 pin.
So can i simply use a 1x 6 to 8 pin adapter and 1x6 pin connector to supply the power for the 970?
Would there be any stability or compatibility issues? thanks!
