Hi,
I recently purchased a dell Inspiron 15, and as soon as I started the windows setup it was completely unable to connect wirelessly to my home network. Everything works fine on a wired connection. All the drivers are up todate, wireless is turned on, I have tried rebooting my PC and my router, and dell support has been fruitless.
Is there anything to be done, or is this a good time to take advantage of the warranty?
Thanks.

Close the Control Panel windows and try connecting to the Internet again. If the adapter is still not successfully connecting, right-click on the adapter's icon in the taskbar in the lower right hand portion of the screen. Select "Diagnose and repair," and then proceed to follow the instructions in the window that comes up.

If still not working there should be a wifi switch on either the side or front of the laptop make sure its set to wifi on.

Hope this helped :)
