My pc suddenly gone slow and laggy, Help!!! 11/7/2015 [Solved]

every thing was perfect. I had a strong pc that worked perfectly and really fast, i could play games like CS:GO,Starcraft 2 and dota 2 on highest graphics withought a single lag when one day it just got frozen and i restarted it then everything got aweful.
the programs start up for too long, everything is working bad, the games are now all slow and laggy some are kind of slo-mo, the context menu with right click on the desktop loads for like 5 seconds yet strange because i have a good computer.
programs often crash as if there is no more ram for them but i checked the ram and it works just fine in full power. I think it can also be a video card problem.

I was trying to find this problem in the internet but i didnt seem to find it and im starting to fear this is a Hard disk problem and what might be even much much worse is the Motherboard. im really wonder if it is acctually possible to corrupt the motherboard of the pc just by (quick)restarting it and i really need some help now. please i really need to know if atleast it is or not the problem with the motherboard.

you can check your hard drive health with Hard Disk Sentinel and do a short self test

Honestly i think you should upgrade to 8 GB of ram.

you should test your memory- memtest is usually used.

Update all your drivers or reset your graphics driver to an earlier one; they don't always work well when the new ones first come out.

virus scan/rootkit scan- viruses do some nasty stuff; many have to do reinstalls of windows because of virus damage.

a new OS install would fix your issues if its a software issue. It be a nice time to switch over to SSD.

You can verify your PSU health by buying a cheap PSU tester from like amazon.

If its the graphics card going bad you can uninstall it and run the onboard graphics; and compare if its having problems. or you can install your card in another system and see if it has the same issues.

What do you mean you checked your ram and it was fine under full power?

Did you ran memtest more than a few minutes? Do it for at least 6 hours or two passes.

Did you ran furmark for your gpu? Do it for at least half an hour with everything set on max.

Ok i found solution acctually it was some kind of and error or a bug in the system witch was slowing the pc down and the solution was simple - just Run the Error checking (im a dumass bec i forgot to make this only check). soo yeah... thnx alot for your attention guys, i yet i will continue with cleaning my computer up and reinstalling some drivers but still thanks alot guys and yes i did memtest and as i said it works perfect. Thank you!

About 3 days ago, my computer (DELL, XPS 13 9360, x64-based PC, 8 GB Ram, Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, SSD 125 GB, Intel i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz, BIOS Dell Inc. 1.3.2, Date 18/1/2017) suddenly becomes a turtle.

Follow some instructions I found in the Internet:

1) Reboot the system several times. (On - Off)
2) Run McAfee Antivirus.
3) Find everything install since the day before the problem (Control Panel, Uninstall a Program) and uninstall it.
McAfee
Dropbox
Adobe Acrobat Reader
Dell Supportassist 1.3.6855.72
4) Remember every change I made in the systems and restore the original settings:
Set off all the apps or functions find in Gmail, Configuration, Lab.
Uninstall Google Chrome and Google Drive.
5) After each step I reboot the system.
6) Install back Gmail and Google Chrome (I work with them).

And… everything is ok again.

I’ll be glad if this information helps somebody.
