Hello everyone, I am going to build my first gaming computer,so I want to know if my components are good enough to run most of the games at 1080p 60hz, and will 500 watts be enough for my build if i overclock the graphics card? here is my build:

CPU: intel i5 4590
Motherboard: asrock H97 performance
GPU: asus strix gtx 960 4GB
HDD: WD 10EZEX 1TB
SDD: samsung 850 EVO 250GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2 X 4GB
PSU: Corsair CX 500M/500W
CASE: NZXT S340
Monitor: Asus VX238h

If you have any opinions, please reply me so i can have a change. I don't want to spend more money so please recommend compoents which can improve performance with close amount of budge, thank you.

Solution
280x (3GB) = $191.98
380 (4GB) = $223.98
290 (4GB) = $239.99

Most of the cheaper 380's have 2GB of VRAM, which doesn't sound nearly worth the ~3% difference of a 280x.

Maybe if you play games that don't load a lot of VRAM, then that extra GB won't matter and the extra performance will be worth it. Then you would go with a cheap 2GB version of a 380, but I'd say don't.

However, i see the r9 380 performs better with around the same price, should i buy this card instead of the gtx960 and r9 280x?

in my country, the r9 290 is more expensive, so i am decide to go for the r9 380 which is cheaper. Therefore i find the sapphire r9 380 4gb and asus r9 380 2gb which are great for me, and it is hard to decide which one should i choose, because i see asus did a better job to make it cooler but it only got 2gb of vram. And the sapphire got 4gb of vram, but it looks cheap, so can you help me to decide please?

I'm assuming you're talking about these two cards https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/compare/asus-video-card-strixr9380dc2oc2gd5gaming%2Csapphire-video-card-100384nt4gocl/ Both have dual fan coolers, so I doubt the cooling will be a huge difference, but that 4GB will be worth it. Go with the Sapphire.

What country are you in? Might be able to find something better.

The Cooler Master V series is better than the Corsair CX series.
Don't pay extra for the 4GB 960 if the 2GB 960 is a lot cheaper.
The regular R9 280 and R9 295 are equal to the 960 if you can get them cheaper.
The R9 380 and R9 380x are better if you can get them for a similar price as the 4Gb 960.
Sometimes you can get the i5 4460 or similar for a good bit cheaper.
There also may be a cheaper H97 motherboard. There are no "bad" H97 motherboards.
Maybe you can save a little money in some of these ways in order to get a better video card than the 960.
