Hello all,

I recently installed Ubuntu 14.04 on my machine which already had Windows 7 installed on it. I wanted to run Linux and Windows side by side, so I picked the "Install them side by side, choosing between them each startup" option on the Ubuntu installer.
i installed it ona separate hard disk.

Ubuntu installed fine, however when GRUB comes up and gives me the choice of operating system and I select "windows 7", the computer just restarts and takes me right back to GRUB. Can't even access "Safe Mode" or anything like that. Help!

here is the pastebin.

Please help.

Solution
Boot from Windows DVD, choose "Repair Windows Instalatio"
This will get rid of GRUB, and boot straight into Windows. From there, install EasyBCD and add Linux to Windows boot menu.
