You don't need more than 8gb ram for sick gaming.
Get Intel i5 + h97 mobo for sick build
This GPU will not run games at sick setting, with sick FPS. you can get better for the money.
Great choice on PSU.
What is your budget?

I wish you had also pasted the name of each item, so we don't have to sit and click each one and try to remember them. So here goes the analysis:
The PC parts work well together but your build is not "sick", on a scale of 1 to 10 its about a 6 for gaming:
1. Your CPU is okay, for gaming an Intel will outperform that all the time The i5 is much more suited to gaming.
2. Your GPU is middle of the row - it will do okay but not at the highest settings
3. You do not have an SSD drive.
4. If your parts are because of your budget, please let us know your total budget.

AMD is not better for gaming. They can be cheaper for things like video editing due to extra cores for a given price but for gaming the modern i5 is king. The i5 has better performance per core and games very rarely use the extra cores of the AMD's.
