What is the best modem for gaming but also cheap like around 50$

I need a modem for my gaming computer so i dont have lags or lag spikes or low latency so like around 50$ or try to find the cheapest that is the best.

Most of the time those issues have nothing to do with the modem. If you are having issues, start at the beginning and explain what is going on and what you tried already and what your computer setup is like with the network.

You also need to list what connection you want it for, cable and DSL have different types of modems.

If you are just looking for a modem and don't have issues you are trying to fix, the Motorola SURFboard DOCSIS 3 is a standard and good model for cable connections.

You did not say for what connection the modem is for, depending on what service you get you need to get a specific modem type. Do you understand the difference between a modem and a router? Do you really need a modem or are you actually looking for a router? Even if the device has wireless in it you can shut that off if you won't be using it.

To be honest i just dont wanna lag in gaming it can be router and i can turn it out so no one can get it but if u think router is best then please find me a 50$ router and im using xfinity for itnernet

Lag in games can have many causes, you should already have a modem from the ISP, are you actually having issues? Are you the only person using this connection? Is your computer good enough to run the games you are playing? Have you worked with the ISP to sort out any issues? Do you just have a modem now with no router?
