Hello everyone, I recently decided to upgrade my PC and as usual there's the potential issue of compatibility of the old and new parts. I think the easiest way to do this is for me to just list all the parts and have you experts look at it, and say pretty please with a cherry on top of course! (Old parts will be cursive)

CPU: AMD FX-8120
CPU cooler: Cooler Master hyper 212 EVO
GPU: MSI R9 fury X
Motherboard: Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0
Case: NZXT Midi Tower Noctis 450 (including 4 fans that come with it)
PSU: Corsair CS750M
HDD: Seagate 3.5" 2TB SATA600
SSD: OCZ 2.5" 128GB SATA 600
RAM: Corsair 2x8GB DDR3 XMS3 CL9
(The old parts have been used heavily since October 2012, if any of these old parts need to be changed because usually said part starts to lose performance after three years I'd also like to know that.)
Obviously the old parts can't be changed, but if anyone has suggestions around the same price range for the new parts then I'd really appreciate them.
If anyone can help me out with this build, you'd certainly make my next few days a lot easier!

Solution
You do not have an effective upgrade for the FX-8320.
You can try to overclock it, but are unlikely to do as well as a 9590.
9590 is essentially a well binned 8350 that has been factory overclocked to the max.

Most games have a dependency on a fast master core, and FX cores are slow.

If you want a cpu upgrade, look at a 4690K.

And, I might suggest a GTX980ti would perform a tad better than the 390X fury. No need to change out the psu.

I did forget to mention that either I will overclock my CPU further (currently running 3.8GHZ) or I will upgrade it later on. Do you have any suggestions for a better PSU then? This one seemed quite alright and was already on the pricier side for a PSU.

Had a look at the PSU's that the website I'm buying from has, G-series 750W from seasonic is a bit more expensive, but I'm going to trust your expertise over my small amount of experience and go for that one then. Just asked around a bit more and you're not the only one that thinks that my CPU absolutely needs an upgrade, easiest option to me seems to be the FX9590 (watercooled edition), what's your opinion on this all and will it be compatible? (Thanks a lot for the info so far by the way)
