Would it be worth upgrading my ram (8gb to 16gb)

I would like to know whether I should upgrade since there's a very good deal on amazon at the moment.
I would like to know if it would help since I like to have many tabs and applications open sometimes when gaming and would it make the tabbing out and generally quicker?

No idea of what you have, but if thinking of upgrading, yes it may well help, however it will be best to get all the DRAM you want/need in a single package. If thinking of just adding additional DRAM to what you already have there are no guarantees the new will work with the old DRAM
