Here is my current build
Cpu: Intel Core i7- 4770 3.4 ghz quad core
motherboard: AsRock B85M-ITX
graphics card: Geforce gtx 760
memory: 8GB DDr3

i was hoping to upgrade the graphics card to a GTX 970, would it be as simple as just buying the 970 and replacing the 760 or is there anything else i should change?

im sorry, im very new at this and i don't want to get any of this wrong.

Hey, I just joined, but I can answer you...

The only thing you have to worry about is whether or not your motherboard supports the upgrade. And it does. The AsRock B85M-ITX supports the GTX 970. So you're in the clear. Also, just an add on, if you want to upgrade your RAM, you can, up to 16GB, but not more than that. :)
