i have an arctic freezer 13

and with my fm2a75m-dgs and a10-6800k i get usually 70C under load (gtx 970 installed) over 80C if im trying to use my igpu (gtx 970 disabled) and this makes my pc turn off after like 1 minute gaming cpu is 86C and computer turns off

it seem obvious that my cooler is not enough even if i disable any oc temps are the same

i would like to aks if thiese are good coolers (im not familiar with any water cooling)

NZXT Kraken X61 or Corsair Hydro Series H100i or a better one than thiese...?

thank you for reading my thread and puting an effort in helping me :)

The noctua NH-D15 is the best cpu cooler you can buy today.
Realize that it is very large, so measure your space carefully.
The noctua web site has very specific details.

I might suggest the Noctua NH-U12S as a more reasonable cooler.
It will be perfectly fine for Skylake which is going to be a much lower wattage cpu.

Phanteks is another good cooler, you can hardly go wrong with either.

And.... start planning on a better case. For a M-ATX motherboard, look at the Silverstone TJ-08E or PS-07
Your case needs to have adequate air intake capability to make any cooler work.
What case do you have?

Does taking the side covers off resolve the issue? If it does, you have a case cooling problem.

Yes, the ac 13 is a weak cooler, and probably noisy.
A simple tower type cooler with a 120mm fan is about the most expensive that would be appropriate.

Liquid coolers have their own issues.
Liquid cooling is really air cooling, it just puts the heat exchange in a different place.
The orientation of the radiator will cause a problem.
If you orient it to take in cool air from the outside, you will cool the cpu better, but the hot air then circulates inside the case heating up the graphics card and motherboard.
If you orient it to exhaust(which I think is better) , then your cpu cooling will be less effective because it uses pre heated case air.

Flamingo FM-12A or something like that

nop temps are same with side off and on actually with everything off and opened it does not change the temperature with 1C :/

i dont mind the noise

i have never seen my gpu over 45C so it should heat up a bit more :D

Could you possibly have not mounted the cooler well?
Using too much paste will act as an insulator; only a small drop is needed.
Is the cooler on solidly? Does it wiggle to the touch?

Your case is not great for cooling, but without the sides, it should not be a factor.

The space needed for a liquid cooler radiator will aggravate things even more.
I suggest a tower type air cooler with a 120mm fan.
CM hyper212 is inexpensive.
Noctua is top wuality but costs more.

i tried inserting the cooler 3 times same results
even had my father looking at it
i did everything as the manual showed my father did the thermal paste it is pea size in the middle

the cooler is mounted solid cant even move 1 bit (its getting very hot if i touch it by the way)

i would like to know what is the best noctua i would use it for skylake as i will change soon but i would like to overclock it high

COOLER NOCTUA NH-D15 i found this what do you think?

Noctua NH-U12S this does not seem any stronger than my current one :/
sure it will do?
i will use it for this cpu too till i upgrade
i have a 250$ budget now so i think they all fit but i could keep this money and use it for skylake if its not needed for the cooler

I think you will be pleased.
Actually any noctua tower cooler with one or two 120 or 140mm fans will do the job.

No cooler can do the job unless it gets some fresh air.
I consider 2 120mm intake fans in front as adequate. two 140mm intake fans or a 180/200 mm intake would be better.
