Hi all,
first of all, sorry if this is the wrong subforum, but I'm new here and I didn't find a tech support subforum here other than the laptop one, so I'm posting my problem here, please move it to the appropriate subforum if there is one, but for now, I'll start describing my problem

It all started on last sunday, where I was rewiring my PC's power supply cables to get some space for the airflow because I had problems with my PC overheating sometimes before (during some very hot days), after that I started playing warframe with some friends, like every evening, then, after some time, the monitors froze, and I was unable to move the mouse, use the keyboard or talk to my friends in Teamspeak, monday morning I was beeing told by my friends in school, that i timed out to the game and to teamspeak. At home I booted my PC again, but it froze just after all processes were fully loaded, (Reset Button didn't work, pressing the powerbutton for longer time didn't work, had to shut down the PSU). Then I booted into safe mode and everything worked fine, so I was assuming it was a software error, and due to the fact that it seemingly didn't matter, what programs I deactivated in autostart, I used the reset function from Windows 10 build 10130, the PC resetted, and after that it wasn't working anyways. After that I did a clean install from Windows 10 build 10162, and now it works for several hours, before it freezes and the fans turn on full speed ( No Blackscreen! The Picture freezes on all 3 monitors and the LEDs on my Razer devices turn themselves off aswell, while the system still runs and my fans turn on full speed.)

What I've already tried:
Clean install of Windows 10 build 10162
Undusting Case, SATA, PSU, CPU, GPU
Replugging all PSU cables to the devices
Running chkdsk c:, no errors found
Running with another GPU
Booting with diffrent RAM-sticks
Checking the eventlog, nothingg about the crashes except the notifications that the PC didn't get shutted down correctly the last time
Running Memtest86, no errors found

What I didn't try already:

Using another Motherboard (Don't have one)
Using another CPU (Don't have one)
Using another PSU (Don't have one)

I do think the main issue is the motherboard, due to the seeming issues with USB, not sure tho, also because the fans and seemingly everything connected directly to the PSU seems to continue working properly, but the things connected to the Motherboard fail to continue their work.

System Specs:
OS: Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview Build 10162
Mainboard: ASUS M5A78L LE
CPU: AMD FX 6100 Sixcore Bulldozer 3,3 Mhz
GPU: nVidia Geforce GTX 660 2gb
RAM: 2x4 Kingston HyperX and 2x4 DDR3-1333 RAM from Samsung
PSU: Sharkoon WPM 500
I'm not using an SSD.
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
Nordwrath

Well, there is no obvious solution, but I would highly suspect your power supply. It is listed as a Tier 5 unit in the following list, which states: "Tier Five
Avoid IMMEDIATELY. These units are highly unsafe to use. No such protections added, very thin gauge wiring used, false advertising and too much to list. Reference to a higher tiered unit for a better, money saving and a much safer unit. For your safety's sake, please don't order or pick one up for use in your system. These units are a potential fire hazard and could even kill you, let alone your system."

You may have to borrow a known, good, working power supply from one of your friends and see if using it solves the problem: do not borrow another Tier5 unit. These have been know to fry (as in burn-up) computers.

Because I wanted to upgrade my system anyway, I've already ordered a new PSU, CPU and Motherboard (Which were the only components I couldn't test), the PSU is a be quiet! Pure Power CM BQT L8-CM-630W, so a T3 unit, I'll see tomorrow how it works out...

Keep in mind that simply installing the new parts will not solve the problem immediately. Because Windows installations and subsequent driver installations tie the OS to the motherboard and/or CPU etc. that was/were being used when the OS was installed, you will probably have to do another complete format and reinstallation of that Win 10 build.

So I've replaced the CPU, Motherboard, PSU and RAM (Needed another one because of voltage), reeinstalled Windows as you said, and my PC ran through the night and morning (while I was in school) without any problems, so I think the problem is solved. Thanks for helping me! :)
