Gaming: Dell U2414h or some other brand

Solution
Generally speaking, monitors with IPS panels like the Dell U214H will have better color accuracy (when calibrated) vs. other types of LCD panel technologies, but they tend to have slower response times (6ms - 8ms). They also tend to be a little to a lot more expensive than other types of LCD panel technologies.

The two monitors suggested by i7Baby have TN panels which offer faster response times compared to IPS panels (1ms - 5ms), less color accuracy (though not really important for games), but also narrower viewing angles which means as you move your head you may notice some color shifts.

You basically need to decide which is more important to you; faster response times (TN panel) or better image (IPS panel) quality...

Thanks for that, but which brand and model will give that faster response time cum better image quality for 23" - 24" monitors

So basically speaking there no monitors which come with both the qualities; except a TV. :??:

I'd go with the DELL as well. I have the 23inch IPS for 4+ years and it's still working perfectly with nice colors. While the response time might be a touch slower, in all honesty, I don't think we will actually be able to notice the difference. Haha we're talking about 4 miliseconds vs 6 miliseconds.
