I'm trying to figure out what the best graphics cards will be in order to play games across three screens at ultra settings, with 60+ FPS. The only restriction with me is that I can only use up to 2-way SLI/xFire with my motherboard and CPU. What's the cheapest (I don't expect under $1000 or anything) solution you guys can think of?

Thanks for any help!

GTX 980 ti is slightly faster. Only time Fury X is faster is when 4k gaming which it was specifically designed to do. Where as GTX 980 TI plays well with all resolutions. Not saying that fury X is bad for no 4k...

Thanks for the response! I've been looking at the GTX 980 Ti, and also the R9 Fury X, and they both seem to be very good. Is the R9 also a good option? It seemed to perform equally good in most benchmarks, and is significantly cheaper, not to mention that it has much faster memory. Is the 2GB of extra memory on the 980 ti going to allow for much greater performance than the fast memory on the R9 Fury X?

1920x1080 by 3 monitors is about 6 million pixels, 4k (3840x2160) is about 8 million pixels, and 2560x1440 is almost 4 million pixels. So figure performance will be about half way between 1440p and 4k. I'd say a single 980Ti/Fury X is enough, if you want to do SLI/Crossfire I'd say 980 or R9 390 for a bit more then a single 980Ti/Fury X.

I'd honestly say a 295x2 if you can find one at a decent price, ive seen them for under $600 on newegg. Won't be as good as two 980ti's but would be cheaper than 1 and do triple 1080p just fine.
