Do you plan to overclock? You might be beneficial from HyperThreading. (i7, Xeon).
    What about ram?
    Cheaper/Better/ higher tier 1 motherboard, see http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2383187/motherboard-tier-list-z97-chipset.html
750w overkill for single GPU, 650w should be enough. PSU tier list : http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
  2. Ok thanks man! I have 16 gb of DDR3 1600 mhz. I actually already have the cooler master cooler. I am thinking of the Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1231 v3 re. Would that work with that board? Can I overclock it? And Is that monitor good? Also I'm trying to keep it under $1000

Xeon is basically i7 4770 (locked, no overclockability). http://ark.intel.com/products/80910/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1231-v3-8M-Cache-3_40-GHz
  4. Ok is the GPU good I think it looks great tbh. Also is that a good CPU and what about the mobo is that good? How is it compared to the i5 4690k? thanks!
  5. Highly overclocked i5 4690k might be slightly better at gaming (you probably won't notice the difference), Xeon will be beneficial for editing/streaming/production. See - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBIfDEcozqM
    r9 390 very solid GPU.
As for motherboard, AsRock h97 Performance is tier 1 motherboard, see http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2383217/motherboard-tier-list-h97-chipset.html
  6. ok thanks!!!
